Assessment of Symptoms, Pregnancy Outcome, and Health-Related Quality of Life among PCOS women Treated with Myo inositol and Metformin

PCOS is a complicated endocrine disorder that mostly affects between 5% and 10% of women who are reproductive age. Obesity, hyperandrogenism, oligo- or anovulation frequent clinical signs.
 Objective: the study was designed to evaluate effect combining Metformin Myoinositol; main insulin-sensitizing drugs on improving symptoms HRQOLQ in women.
 Materials Methods: A prospective, interventional, comparative conducted 54 patients (aged 18-40 y) divided into three groups: group1 allocated receive Myo-inositol(4g), group2 Metformin(1g) group3 Myo-inositol(4g) + all for 3 months. Baseline after months, patients’ information health related quality life were documented.
 Result: Myoinositol resulted improvement within each groups as (68.8%, 87.5% 94.1%) group 1,2 respectively, only 4 from became pregnant. Also, significant change months treatment reported.
 Conclusion: with metformin results improved pregnancy outcome addition patient’s life.
